Conrad Meia Praia Algarve Resort to Open in 2027

Conrad Meia Praia Algarve resort will open in spring 2027, featuring 116 guest rooms and suites with sea views, including seven with private plunge pools. The development is part of a franchise agreement between Hilton and a joint-venture involving PGIM Real Estate, Sonae Sierra, and Iberian Hospitality Solutions (IHSP). The resort will include 21 Conrad-branded residences.

Located above Meia Praia beach, the property will offer two restaurants, a beach club, a spa, pools, and event spaces. It aligns with Conrad Hotels & Resorts’ approach to modern luxury, emphasizing bold design and service that connects guests to the Algarve region.

Dan Wakeling, vice president of development for Hilton, stated the project marks a key step in the company’s luxury growth strategy in Europe. The resort will be the second collaboration between Hilton and the development team.

The Algarve region is known for its coastal attractions and year-round climate. This development adds to Hilton’s portfolio in Portugal, though the exact number of hotels in the country is not specified in the press release.
